Volunteer Opportunities

Without our dedicated team of volunteers, we wouldn’t be able to offer the programs and activities participants have come to count on.

From facilitating craft activities such as beading and quilting to teaching ESL to prepping and serving meals, our tireless volunteers help ensure that every woman who comes to Sistering feels welcome and valued.

Program Volunteers

Sistering offers participants a variety of skill-enhancing and recreation programs from clubs, workshops and groups such as crafts and knitting, to fitness classes, massage, yoga, facials and chiropractic services.

How does it work?

Volunteers bring their hobbies, skills or training, and in partnership with the Volunteer Coordinator and staff, develop and run activities, groups and workshops. A staff member or another volunteer may be available for additional support.
